The Aeotec Nano Dimmer will drastically improve your home lighting. It lets you convert any light dimmer switch into a Z-Wave Plus dimmer. You can control it, schedule it or automate it from your existing light switch or a Z-Wave gateway. Aeotec Nano Dimmer is a Z-Wave smart dimmer device specifically used to enable Z-Wave command and control (on/off/dim) of any in-wall switches. It can report immediate wattage consumption or kWh energy usage over a period of time.

Nano Dimmer offers smart, connected lighting without any of the hassle and it retrofits to any switch to make it a smart one. Its fantastic dimming capabilities are complemented by super-accurate power metering, surge protection and overload protection. Nano Dimmer is compatible with all certified Z-Wave gateways including SmartThings, Fibaro and Vera. It will also work with Amazon Alexa when used with an Alexa compatible hub or gateway.

Works with or without neutral

Beside its better lighting compatibility, Nano Dimme has a better wiring compatibility too. Whether your lights are installed in a 2-wire or 3-wire system, Nano Dimmer is compatible. Nano Dimmer will work with simple wiring or complex, 2 or 3-wire installations and Lighting Engine auto-detects whether your light switches have a neutral wire or not, then automatically adjusts it settings.

Keep your existing light switch

Nano Dimmer has been designed to work with most of the typically light switches – new or old. It can invisibly be installed behind them, enchancing their functionality instead of completely replacing it.
